Acupuncture & Oriental Medical Center is a healing center that treats a broad array of ailments and disorders by promoting overall well-being in order to achieve optimal health. Traditional Chinese medicine is utilized, combining acupuncture treatments, Chinese herbs, and Tui Na, which is a form of physical manipulation of the body by hands to facilitate healing.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is based on the foundation of Yin and Yang, treating the human body as the unity of qi, spirit, and physical form.   Diagnosis is accomplished by observation (“look”), investigation (“ask”), auscultation (“listen”), and palpation (“touch”) – the four diagnostic approaches.

Pathogenesis is ascertained from the diagnostic findings, which can be derived from analyzing viscera, meridian joints, qi-blood changes, and vile qi changes. 

The principle of TCM treatments is to achieve the natural balance of all the forces inside a body.  Treatment modalities include the use of acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage therapy (Tui Na), cupping therapy, Qigong and dietary modifications to help the body reach the balance of Yin and Yang. 

The ultimate goal of TCM treatment is not only to restore bodily health but also to attain physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, as well as to slow the progression of chronic diseases in order to achieve longevity.
